Life in today’s world shifts all the time. We must continually seek equilibrium between chaos and order, waking to the outer world, then settling back into ourselves. How do we learn to navigate those movements, back and forth, that influence our health and well-being?

In this conference, we will explore capacities that educators can develop to invite every child into their own well-being and equilibrium, both in their body and in their community.

Dr. Blanning will share current research and experiential insights drawn from his work as a school doctor and private practitioner, working with families, children, and educators.

The conference will focus on ways we can support this process: anchoring ourselves in our bodies, balancing our inner emotional life, and learning to interpret what we observe.

In-Person Conference, Spring Valley, NY, March 19-21, 2027

Those of you able to join us in person this year will enjoy all the conference activities you have come to expect, including three keynote presentations, numerous workshop options, a variety of vendors, a professional eurythmy performance, delicious food and more.

Online Conference April 3, 10 & 11, 2027

In the interest of accessibility, we warmly invite those of you who can’t attend in person to participate in our newly designed online conference experience.

The online conference will begin with the release of the keynote lectures on April 3rd. A live welcoming gathering, hosted by WECAN conference team members on April 10th, will include a collaborative conversation reflecting on the keynote content and more. Live workshops will also take place that day as well as on April 11th. Though the workshops will be designed to be interactive, they will also be recorded for anyone who is unable to attend live.

All recordings will remain available after the conference for registered participants until June 31st.
