Essential Job Duties
The essential duty of the teacher is to be a model of maturity for young people. We are looking for professionals who:听
- lead the class with presence, patience, humor, and wisdom听
- communicate regularly and clearly with parents and colleagues听
- attend weekly staff meetings听
- are organized and prepared every day听
- develop healthy relationships with all students, parents, and staff听
Qualifications
We expect teachers to have a personal听connection to听and appreciation for Waldorf education, and听we expect听their understanding of Waldorf education to听continue to听develop over time. Formal Waldorf training is听preferred, but听not听required. Typically, a strong candidate will already have substantial teaching experience at a Waldorf school.听
